WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team enters the 2024-25 campaign ranked No. 12 nationally in the College Squash Association's preseason poll, as announced by the organization on Friday.
 
Under first year head coach Heba El Torky this season, the Hoyas are coming off their best season in program history after winning the Kurtz Cup at the College Squash Association Divisional Championships in 2023-24. Georgetown returns 13 letterwinners from its squad that went 14-8 a year ago and welcomes four talented newcomers to the Hilltop.
 
The Hoyas face five top-10 preseason ranked opponents in 2024-25 including No. 3 Penn, No. 4 Princeton, No. 7 Yale, No. 9 Columbia and No. 10 Drexel.
 
Georgetown opens the season at No. 13 Tufts on November 15 in Medford, Massachusetts.
