WASHINGTON – This week, the Georgetown University men's golf team will compete in the Hamptons Intercollegiate in East Hampton, New York. The event, held at the Maidstone Club, will feature a two-day, three-round format on the par-72, 6,665-yard course. The tournament, running from October 7 to October 8, will include 12 participating schools. A link for live scoring will be available at GUHoyas.com.
Hoya Lineup
- The Hoyas will travel five student-athletes this weekend.
- The last time out, Georgetown finished eighth in the field of 15 at The Goat with a 54-hole score of 851.
- Freshman CJ Winchenbaugh will be in the one spot for the Hoyas this week after placing highest on the leaderboard the last time out at The Goat tied for 12th. The freshman turned in cards of 73, 70 and 72.
- Captain Max Hutter will be in the second spot for Georgetown. The senior finished his three rounds at The Goat tied for 23rd overall with cards of 76, 70 and 73 for a three-round score of 219 (+6).
- Sophomore Barnes Blake will be in the three spot and Alan Rose at the four for the Hoyas this weekend. Blake is averaging a 73 stroke average while Rose is averaging 74.
- Senior captain Jacob Finard will round out the lineup for the Blue & Gray this upcoming week in his first event of the season.
About the Tournament
- The event will feature 11 other institutions with Yale, Howard, Harvard, Ole Miss, Loyola Maryland, Florida State, UVA, Princeton, Wake Forest, Arkansas and Penn.
- Teams will tee off Monday morning from 7:35 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. starting from holes 1 and 10 and will play two full rounds followed by another final round Tuesday.

The Blue & Gray will host the 40th Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate from Monday, October 14 to Tuesday, October 15 at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, New Jersey. The event is scheduled to be a two-day event.
