WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team kicks off the 2024-25 season on the road with a pair of matches against top-15 ranked opponents this weekend in New England. The 12th-ranked Hoyas, under first year head coach
Heba El Torky, take on No. 13 Tufts on Friday and No. 11 Dartmouth on Saturday.

Scouting Tufts
- Friday's match is set for 4 p.m. in Medford, Massachusetts.
- The Jumbos went 12-9 last season and competed for the Howe Cup and finished 12th at last year's CSA National Championships.
- Tufts returns 10 contributors from a year ago, including All-NESCAC performers Vharsha Dinesh and Riddhi Joshi.
- This is the first meeting between the two programs since Georgetown became a varsity program in 2021.
Scouting Dartmouth
- Saturday's match will be played at noon in Hanover, New Hampshire.
- The Big Green went 7-10 last season and also competed for the Howe Cup, defeating Tufts in the finale to finish 11th at last year's CSA National Championships.
- Dartmouth is led by captains Chelsea Cho and Aubrey Lennon.
- Georgetown and Dartmouth have met twice prior, both victories for the Big Green at a neutral site in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Next Time Out
Following the weekend's action, the Hoyas return to the District for their home opener at Squash On Fire on Friday, November 22 against third-ranked Penn at 4 p.m.
