WASHINGTON – Bailey De Luise was named BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week for his performance in Georgetown University's 150-133 victory over NJIT at McCarthy Pool on Saturday afternoon, as announced by the League on Monday. 

"We had a lot of guys compete at a high level on Saturday," said Head Coach Jack Leavitt. "Bailey stood out. He was coming off an incredibly hard weekend with his ROTC responsibilities, so to see how he bounced back and swam on Saturday was really impressive."

• De Luise helped the men win in the 400 medley relay with Ryan Mathis,Troy Keen and Owen Watkins with a time of 3:26.88.
• The junior earned first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:07.60 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.13.
