WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's tennis team released its 2025 spring season schedule on Friday, presented by MedStar Health. The Hoyas have penciled in matchups against 20 different opponents in the spring, six of which will be hosted by Georgetown.
ON THE RECORD - "We are excited for a great season ahead. We have some familiar matchups on the schedule and all of our conference opponents which is super important to me. Our team has been working hard all semester in anticipation of a great spring season. The Hoyas will begin their 2025 campaign on the road on January 17 against Old Dominion. They will host Howard in their home opener at Belle Haven Country Club a week later. To kick off February, the Blue & Gray will travel to Blacksburg, Virginia for a road matchup against Virginia Tech, which will be the first of eight matches in February. The Hoyas will finish out the month in La Jolla, California for the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament on the 27th.
Georgetown will compete against six BIG EAST opponents in March and April before heading south to Cayce, South Carolina, on April 17 for the BIG EAST Championship.
GU is coming off a 15-8 record (4-3 in conference) in the spring of 2024, which helped it earn the third seed in the BIG EAST Championship.
