WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 15th-ranked squash team took fourth place at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships over the weekend at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Hoyas swept No. 21 Franklin & Marshall 9-0 before falling 9-0 to both No. 5 Virginia and No. 9 Drexel.
Opening pool play against the Diplomats, the Hoyas (11-8) used wins from

Sydney Bramen and
Caroline Wilcox to seal the 9-0 victory.
Eena Yu also picked up a win in the exhibition spot.
The only team in the pool to play two matches on Saturday, the Hoyas fell 9-0 to the Cavaliers (11-2) in the afternoon session to earn a spot in the third place match against Drexel.
Taking on the Dragons (6-6) on Sunday, the Hoyas fell 9-0 to the local squad to claim fourth place at the MASC Championships.

The Hoyas earned the fifth-seed in the Kurtz Cup at the upcoming College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships. The draw will be held in Philadelphia at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center from February 16-18. Georgetown will face sixth-seeded Bowdoin in the opening round on Friday.
