WASHINGTON - Georgetown softball will compete in its third tournament this weekend at the Frost Classic in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Hoyas will be joined by five other schools competing in the event, including Chattanooga, Ohio, Texas A&M Corpus Christi ,UT Martin and Valparaiso.
The Hoyas will open the tournament on Friday, February 23, at 12:30 p.m. against Ohio before competing against the host, Chattanooga, at 5:30 p.m. The Blue & Gray will play another two games on Saturday, February 24, first against UT Martin at 10 a.m. and then against Valparaiso, at 3 p.m. Georgetown will conclude the tournament on Sunday, February 25, at 10 a.m. against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Last weekend, GU competed at the Furman Invitational where the team went 5-0. The Hoyas earned wins over Towson, Lipscomb, Furman and IUPUI twice.

Ohio is coming off a 5-0 weekend at the Spiro Classic where they earned two wins over Sacred Heart, two wins over UNC Greensboro and a win over Drexel.
