WASHINGTON – Senior Jake Hyde was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Hyde was stellar for the Hoyas in a 3-1 week as GU captured a midweek victory over Navy, 5-3, and took the weekend series against VMI 2-1.

• Hyde slashed .333/.333/.889 in four games for the Hoyas last week.
• The senior recorded four runs scored, six hits, two doubles and one triple.
• Hyde tallied two home runs and eight RBIs on the week earning his first conference honor of the season. Hyde was also one single short of hitting for the cycle on Saturday against VMI when he went 3-for-5 with a double, triple and home run.
