WASHINGTON - Georgetown softball will compete in its final tournament this weekend at the Purple and Gold Challenge in Nashville, Tennessee. The Hoyas will be joined by three other schools competing in the event, including Lipscomb, Murray State and North Dakota State.
The Hoyas will open the tournament on Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m. against North Dakota State before competing against Murray State at 12:30 p.m. The Blue & Gray will play another two games on Saturday, March 2, first against the host, Lipscomb, at 3 p.m. and then a rematch against Murray State, at 5:30 p.m. Georgetown will conclude the tournament on Sunday, March 3, at 10 a.m. in a rematch against North Dakota State.
