WASHINGTON - Georgetown women's tennis was defeated by URI 4-3 on Tuesday, March 12 at the Junior Tennis Champions Center. The Hoyas now hold a record of 4-10 on the season.
In doubles, GU's duo of Emily Novikov and Paige Gilbert defeated their opponents 6-4, earning their fifth doubles victory of the season.
In singles, Chloe Bendetti, Ashley Kennedy and Novikov all earned wins. For Bendetti, it is her second singles win in a row. For Novikov, it is her eighth win of the spring season.
