WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Jesse Brownell and
Brianna Jefferson were both named All-Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference, as announced by the league office on Thursday. Brownell was a first team selection while Jefferson earned a second team nod.
Brownell went 10-7 on the season, playing exclusively in the top position. Four of her wins were 3-0 sweeps and she wrapped up the 2023-24 campaign with three-straight wins to lead the Hoyas to win the College Squash Association Kurtz Cup Championship.
Jefferson was 13-6 overall, including a perfect 5-0 playing at the top of the ladder. She swept seven opponents on the year and also finished out the year with three-straight wins at the CSA Divisional Championships
Georgetown went 14-8 in its third season as a varsity program, winning the CSA Kurtz Cup as well as posting a fourth place finish at the MASC Championships.
