WASHINGTON - Georgetown softball fell to Creighton 11-2 in the final game of the three-game series on Saturday, March 30 in Omaha, Nebraska. The Hoyas are now 10-22 on the season and 1-11 in BIG EAST play while Creighton is 21-14 and 6-3 in league action.

How it Happened

• Dayanara Campos opened the game with a two-run home run in the first inning.

• After the home run, GU would have runners on first and second, but could not get anymore runs in the inning.

• In the bottom of the first, the Bluejays had bases loaded, but the Hoyas only limited them to one run in the inning.

• Creighton would score four runs in the second inning to take a 5-2 lead.

• In the third, Georgetown was unable to gather any offense while the Bluejays extended their lead to 9-2.

• In the fourth, the Bluejays managed to have bases loaded with zero outs. However, Georgetown limited them to two runs in the inning.

• Trailing 11-2 in the top of the fifth, Georgetown was unable to score any runs, allowing the Bluejays to secure victory.

• Campos recorded her seventh home run of the season in the first inning.

• Campos also tallied two RBIs and a run.

• Maicie Levitt scored 14th run of the season.

• Emily Strittmatter got on base twice with a hit and a walk.

• From the circle, Kayla Dunn threw three strikeouts in four innings pitched.
