WASHINGTON - Celebrating senior day, Georgetown men's tennis defeated Villanova 7-0 on Saturday, April 13 at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, Maryland. The Hoyas finish the regular season 14-7 on the year and 4-3 in BIG EAST play.
Starting the match in doubles, Georgetown's duos of Kieran Foster and Zamaan Moledina and Jake Fellows and Arthur O'Sullivan both earned victories, securing the doubles point for the Hoyas.
In singles, Georgetown won all six matches against the Wildcats with Fellows, Moledina, O'Sullivan, Foster, Adhvyte Sharma and Derek Raskopf all receiving victories. For Fellows, he finished the regular season with a singles record of 18-2, competing every match in the number one position.
Georgetown's 14 wins are the most team wins in a season since the 2011 season.
