WASHINGTON - Dayanara Campos was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after her stellar weekend performance in Georgetown's three-game series against Butler.

Campos was vital to the Hoyas offensive success in the series, helping the team put up 17 total runs over three games and win the third game of the series 7-4. In nine total at bats, Campos recorded three home runs, one in each game of the series, to go along with eight RBIs, four runs, five hits and three walks.

 On the year, Campos leads the team in numerous categories including batting average at .352, home runs at 10 and slugging percentage at .813. This is Campos' second time this season earning BIG EAST Weekly Honors, previously winning BIG EAST Player of the Week after the Furman Invitational.
