WASHINGTON - Celebrating senior day, Georgetown women's tennis defeated Villanova 6-1 on Friday, April 12 at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, Maryland. The Hoyas finish the regular season 8-12 on the year and 4-2 in BIG EAST play.
Starting in doubles, Georgetown's duos of Chloe Bendetti and Olivia Ashton and Katie Garofolo-Ro and Ashley Kennedy both earned victories, securing the doubles point for the Hoyas.
In singles, the Hoyas took five out of the six matches with Bendetti, Emily Novikov, Avantika Willy, Kennedy and Morgan Coburn all earning wins.
