WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's women's rowing openweight program participated in the Knecht Cup on Sunday in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The Hoyas won in their heats in the 1st Varsity 8+ and 1st Varsity 4+ races and went on to earn 3rd and 5th place respectively in the finals of those competitions. Due to wind delays, the tournament adjusted racing to just one day, foregoing racing on Saturday.
