WASHINGTON - Georgetown men's tennis defeated Richmond 5-2 on Friday, April 5 in Richmond, Virginia before being narrowly defeated by Navy 4-3 on Sunday, April 7 in Annapolis, Maryland. The Hoyas are now 13-6 on the season and remain 3-2 in BIG EAST play.
Against Richmond, Georgetown's duos of Kieran Foster and Zamaan Moledina and Adhvyte Sharma and Burke Pablo earned victories, giving the Hoyas the doubles point.
In singles, Georgetown took four out of the six singles matches with Jake Fellows, Moledina, Arthur O'Sullivan and Derek Raskopf all earning victories.
Against Navy, the Midshipmen started off the match with the doubles points.
In singles, Moledina, Foster and Sahil Morey all recorded wins. However, the Hoyas could not record a fourth win, giving Navy the match.
