WASHINGTON – Georgetown's
Cody Bowker was named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week in the final edition of regular season awards as announced by the conference on Monday evening. Bowker was sensational for the Hoyas in a crucial Thursday night showdown with St. John's.

- Bowker was excellent on Thursday night tossing seven scoreless frames against conference foe St. John's en route to his fifth win of the season on the mound.
- The sophomore allowed four hits and no runs while walking only two SJU batters.
- The Bowdoinham, Maine native tallied 10 strikeouts on the evening, one short of his season of 11. This is Bowker's first time being named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week in his career.
