WASHINGTON – Following seven days of competition in both the 2024 ICSA Women's Fleet Racing National Championship and the 2024 ICSA Open Fleet Racing National Championship, the Georgetown University sailing team had a quartet of student-athletes named All-Americans.

About the Hoyas

• Georgetown finished eighth out of 18 in the women's division after some solid finishes on the final day of competition.
• In the open fleet racing, the Blue & Gray was 15th overall.

All-Americans

• Senior Mariner Fagan was named to the 2024 Open Skipper All-America Team. Earlier this season, he was selected as MAISA Open Sailor of the Year.
• Two Hoyas were selected to the 2024 Crew Honorable Mention Team as junior Spencer Kriegstein and senior Emily Panarella both earned nods. Both of the Hoyas were named First Team All-MAISA Open Crews earlier in the season. Kriegstein was also a MAISA Crew of the Year finalist.
• Junior Piper Holthus earned a spot on the 2024 Women's Skipper All-America Team. She was a First Team All-MAISA Women's Skippers honoree as well as a MAISA Women's Sailor of the Year finalist.
