Field Hockey Set to Face Towson, Rider

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team is back in action this weekend for a pair of games in Towson, Maryland. The Hoyas travel to face Towson on Friday before taking on Rider in a neutral site contest on Sunday.

  • Georgetown is coming off a 1-1 weekend that saw a 2-1 victory at Lock Haven and a 1-0 setback against Saint Francis (Pa.)
  • Sydney Yodh and Colleen Maloney both scored against the Bald Eagles with Maloney notching the game-winner for her first career goal
  • Caroline Suko and Elena Leahy both had assists for the Blue & Gray
  • In goal, Ella Fahey collected three saves against LHU and shut the Bald Eagles out for the final 59:07 of the game
