WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team is back in action this weekend for a pair of games in Towson, Maryland. The Hoyas travel to face Towson on Friday before taking on Rider in a neutral site contest on Sunday.

• Georgetown is coming off a 1-1 weekend that saw a 2-1 victory at Lock Haven and a 1-0 setback against Saint Francis (Pa.)
• Sydney Yodh and Colleen Maloney both scored against the Bald Eagles with Maloney notching the game-winner for her first career goal
• Caroline Suko and Elena Leahy both had assists for the Blue & Gray
• In goal, Ella Fahey collected three saves against LHU and shut the Bald Eagles out for the final 59:07 of the game
• Against the Mountaineers, Fahey added another six saves for the Hoyas in the one-goal loss
• For her efforts, Fahey earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Scouting Towson

• Friday's game is slated for 3 p.m. in Towson, Maryland
• The Tigers are 1-3 on the season courtesy of a 5-1 victory over Saint Francis
• Sarah Hatfield leads Towson with three goals on the year while Anouk Westerink has a pair and Lydia Bennett has one
• Kristin Strijdom paces the offense with three assists
• Tessa Scheenstra has made all four starts for TU and has posted a 1.57 goals-against average to go with 27 saves and a .818 save percentage
• Georgetown and Towson last met in 2019 with the Tigers winning 3-2 in double overtime

Scouting Rider

• Sunday's neutral site game is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Towson Field Hockey Complex
• The Broncs are 2-2 on the year with wins over Colgate and Mercyhurst
• Megan Normile leads Rider with five goals and an assist while Olivia Machiavelli has three goals and an assist
• In goal, Jade Regnart has played every minute this season with a 1.20 GAA, 12 saves and a .706 save percentage
• Georgetown and Rider squared off last season in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with the Broncs holding on for a 1-0 victory
