WASHINGTON – Georgetown University field hockey standout
Elena Perez Alejandro was named Second Team All-BIG EAST, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Perez Alejandro is the first Hoya to be named All-BIG EAST since 2021 and just the seventh player to garner BIG EAST postseason recognition in program history. In all, those seven Hoyas have collected a total of 10 All-BIG EAST honors and one Defensive Player of the Year award.
Perez Alejandro started all 17 games for the Blue & Gray, posting six points on the season with a goal and four assists. She scored her lone goal against Rider while adding a pair of assists against Queens (N.C.) and one assist each against Davidson and Quinnipiac.
The Hoyas went 5-12 overall in 2025, Georgetown's most wins in a season since the 2021 campaign.
