Georgetown Readies for Princeton on Tuesday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's soccer team will welcome the Princeton University Tigers to Shaw Field on Tuesday afternoon in a nonconference matchup. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports with Christian Taylor and Tom Greaser on the call.

  • Georgetown (3-2-3) is coming off of a 1-0 victory over Creighton in both teams' BIG EAST Conference opener on Friday evening.
  • A goal from Matthew Van Horn in the 70th minute sealed the victory for the Blue & Gray.

  • Three Tigers scored in Princeton's (2-2) last match against Colgate on Tuesday night, handing the Tigers their first home victory, 3-1.
  • Daniel Ittycheria recorded a goal and an assist in the match, marking his third goal in three-consecutive games for Princeton and his second assist of the season. For his efforts, Ittycheria earned a nod on the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll.
  • Ittycheria, the 2023 Ivy League top scorer, leads the Tigers with three goals and two assists for eight points on the season so far. Kelley is behind him with five points off of two goals and an assist.
  • Khamari Hadaway has been solid in goal for the Tigers, recording 90 minutes in all four matches so far and making 10 saves on the season.
