Men’s and Women’s Tennis Take on Howard

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team is back in action this weekend while the women's tennis team opens its spring season. Both squads will take on the Howard University Bison, with the men's team returning to action on Friday, January 24 at 12:45 p.m. at Howard while the women's team opens its spring season on Saturday, January 25 at 4:45 p.m. at Yates Field House.

ON THE RECORD: "We are excited to kick off the women's season against Howard this weekend. We play each other every year and it's starting to become a good crosstown rivalry. They have a great team and coaching staff so we know it will be a battle from start to finish. On the men's side, we are looking to bounce back from a solid performance against a strong ODU team. We've had a good week of practice and are looking forward to a battle with the Bison on Friday." - Head Coach Freddy Mesmer
