WASHINGTON -The Georgetown University men's and women's swimming & diving teams will face crosstown rival Howard in the fourth annual "Battle at the Burr" on Saturday, October 4. The meet will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Burr Gym Pool. Diving will hold prelims on Friday, October 3 at 5:30 pm.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- In last year's Battle at the Burr, both the men's and women's teams brought home the victory, with the men outscoring Howard 117-107 and the women winning 133-90.
- The women's team brought home seven first place finishes while the men's team captured five.
- The GU women's team captured first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.35 and the 200 free relay with a time of 1:37.18.
- Wilson Tunila (9:49.78), Ronan Krauss (10:01.29) and Bruno Ribeiro (10:25.22) swept the podium in the 1000 free.
- Owen Watkins earned first in the 50 free with a time of 21.10.
- In the 1000 free, Ashley Vensel (10:53.01) and Payton Smith (10:56.76) finished in first and second.
