Hoyas Compete at Potomac Relays

WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams opened the 2025-26 season at the Potomac Relays at American University on Friday afternoon. Both teams took second in the event with the men scoring 426 points, and the women tallying 418.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

In the 200 medley relay, Isaac Holtham, Bailey De Luise, Darren Chen and Owen Watkins finished first with a time of 1:31.89.
Tre Cottrell, Connor Jellig, Ronan Krauss and Gabe Gonda took second in the 800 free relay touching the wall at 6:57.40.
The 100 fly relay team of Henry Haupt, Troy Keen and Chen took home first with a 2:31.10 finish.
With a time of 2:37.08, Holtham, Matt Gibson and Davis Dunham captured second in the 100 back relay.
In the 100 breaststroke relay, Cottrell, Nick Pezzella and De Luise placed first with a time of 2:52.52.
The 500 free team of Keen, Watkins, Jellig and Michael Mostofi was second with a 4:10.48.
In the 400 medley relay, Ben Tunila, Gonda, Holtham and Nick Pezzella were second (3:32.19).
The 200 free team of Watkins, Cottrell, De Luise and Chen managed a second-place finish with a 1:24.88.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

In the 800 free relay, Camille Weiss, Bridget Kelly, Kaitlin Lee and Lila Connor took first with a time of 7:46.44.
The team of Madeline Malone, Angelica Reali and Cali Oyerly took second in the 100 fly relay coming in at 2:55.61.
With a time of 2:50.96, the 100 back relay was first as Connor, Allie Sanchez and Heidi Wu clocked a 2:50.96.
In the 500 free relay, Taplin Seelbach, Malone, Lee and Weiss placed second with a time of 4:38.06.
The 400 medley relay team of Wu, Cali Oyerly, Sanchez and Reali took the top spot touching the wall at 4:04.87.
