Cara Martin were each named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the Hoyas' dominant victories over Marquette and Providence.
Maja Lardner | Gr. | F | Dallas, Texas
- In the 5-0 victory over Providence, Lardner scored two goals and had an assist to help the Hoyas to the win.
- She now has 11 goals and three assists on the season.
Cara Martin | Sr. | GK | Alexandria, Va.
- Martin had two shutouts last week with three saves against Providence and one save against Marquette.
- She now has nine shutouts and 34 saves this season.
Ellen Carter | Sr. | D | Hermosa Beach, Calif.
- Carter anchored Georgetown's defense in a pair of shutout victories over Providence and Marquette.
- She played 90 minutes against Marquette and 47 minutes against Providence as part of a back line that allowed few scoring opportunities across both matches.
- Her steady presence helped extend Georgetown's unbeaten run in BIG EAST play while earning the team its eighth and ninth shutouts of the season.
