WASHINGTON – After Georgetown's men's and women's swimming & diving teams defeated American at McCarthy Pool on Friday, October 17, Maddie Malone and Isaac Holtham were named BIG EAST Athletes of the Week for their performances, as announced by the League on Wednesday. 

Maddie Malone | Jr. | Hermosa Beach, Calif. - BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week

• Malone helped contribute to GU's relay wins in the 200 medley (1:45.41) and the 400 free (3:30.45).
• Malone also won the 50 free (23.64) and the 100 free (51.57). 

Isaac Holtham | Fr. | Charlotte, N.C. - BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week

• Holtham captured first in the 200 free (1:42.76), the 400 IM (4:05.66) and the 200 backstroke (1:52.82).
