WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Riley Fitzgerald was named the BIG EAST Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Fitgerald led the Hoyas to a 2-0 record on the week, including a 3-1 BIG EAST victory over Quinnipiac.
 
In Georgetown's first league win of the season against the Bobcats, Fitzgerald scored every goal for the Blue & Gray as she recorded her first career hat trick on the Hilltop. Her hat trick is the first for a Hoya since 2023 and just the second since 2010.
 
The Hoyas also defeated Queens 3-1 to wrap up the home schedule.
 
Georgetown returns to action on Friday at Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia to close out the 2025 season.
