WASHINGTON - Junior Matthew Helfrich was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday as announced by the BIG EAST office. The Hoyas only had one match this past week, and came away with a scoreless draw at Seton Hall on Saturday evening.

• Helfrich and the Hoya defense put together its sixth shutout of the season on Saturday as well as their fifth shutout in the past six contests.
• The local product was solid on offense and defense as the Hoyas dominated possession, outshooting the Pirates 12-2.
• Helfrich has started all 11 games for the Blue & Gray this season, and has three assists on the year.
• This is his first-career weekly award and the sixth nod to the honor roll for the Blue & Gray this season.
