WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Barnes Blake was named the BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office in New York on Wednesday. The award comes after the junior's second-place finish at the Hamptons Intercollegiate in East Hampton, New York.

- Barnes Blake led the Blue & Gray with another strong performance this week, finishing tied for second overall at three-under par at the Maidstone Club
- The Westfield, New Jersey native posted rounds of 69, 71, and 73 to earn his second runner-up finish of the season.
- This is Blake's first BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honor of his collegiate career.
