WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, the BIG EAST Conference announced that Georgetown University's Rebecca Ochan was named BIG EAST Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Ochan was Georgetown's top finisher at the Penn Collegiate Classic, claiming victory in the 200m with a time of 23.94, the second-fastest mark in Georgetown indoor history.

She has worked hard to get to this point and has displayed tremendous versatility as a sprinter here at Georgetown. This is a well deserved recognition. I am very proud and excited for her. - Earlier this season, the Highland Park, New Jersey native set a new school record in the women's 300m with a time of 38.21.
