WASHINGTON – Georgetown track & field wrapped up competition at the Penn Relays on Saturday with a trio of Championship of America Relay races at Franklin Field. Both the men's and women's 4x800m squads left their mark in the program record books, with the men clocking the ninth-fastest time in Georgetown history (7:17.26) for a fifth-place finish, while the women landed the 20th-best mark all-time (8:36.40) to take eighth.

4x800m Championship of America: The squad of
Gabriele Angiono,
Edwin Klanke,
Tinoda Matsatsa and
Nicholas Medeiros clocked 7:17.26 for a fifth-place finish. Their time is the ninth fastest mark in program history.
4xMile Championship of America: GU's team of
Luke Johnson,
Christopher Middleton-Pearson,
MacCallum Rowe and
Tommy Shaw placed 10th in the 4xMile with a time of 16:57.37.
Georgetown Women
4x800m Championship of America: Emma Bennett,
Mary Grace Hegberg,
Melissa Riggins and
Charlotte Tomkinson finished 8th with a time of 8:36.40. Their time ranks 20th in school history.
100m Championship: Ida Moczerniuk took fifth with a time of 12.05.
