Hoyas Travel to Villanova on Wednesday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will travel to Pennsylvania on Wednesday to face the Villanova Wildcats in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at Finneran Pavilion. The opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.

  • Georgetown (11-14, 4-10 BIG EAST) lost 70-48 to the No. 24/25 Creighton University Bluejays on Saturday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
  • Graduate student Kelsey Ransom led the way with 20 points, six boards as well as four assists and three steals.
  • Freshman Khadee Hession scored 12 points with six rebounds, and senior Ariel Jenkins managed a game-high 13 boards in the contest.
