WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Jeremy Sheffield was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The award comes after a 2-2 week that saw the Hoyas pick up wins over George Mason and Sacred Heart.

• Sheffield was superb in a 2-2 week for Georgetown slashing .438/.526/.563 in four games.
• The third basemen tallied seven hits, seven RBIs, four runs scored, a triple, two walks and two stolen bases.
• Sheffield was perfect in the field posting a 1.000 fielding percentage on the week. 
• This is Sheffield's first honor of his collegiate career and the second of the season for the Hoyas.
