WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's rowing team posted mixed results against Delaware and Princeton at the Fosburgh Cup in Princeton, New Jersey. The lightweight team swept their races against Delaware in the Lightweight one varsity, two varsity and three varsity. The Hoyas went 1-2 in races against Princeton, winning in the one varsity and dropping their races in the two varsity and three varsity.
"Today our young team took some great strides forward in our racing. Princeton was an excellent host, rolling out the red carpet for us. While we were unsuccessful in earning the Fosburgh Cup back, we learned some very important lessons about what we are capable of. Of course, we were excited to see our junior varsity crew come away with a victory.
