Box Score WASHINGTON — The Georgetown University softball team fell to Seton Hall 10-2 in the second game of a three-game series in South Orange, New Jersey on Saturday. With the loss, the Hoyas dropped to 8-7 overall and 0-2 in conference play, while the Pirates improved to 8-9 with a 2-0 mark in league action.

- After a scoreless first inning, Seton Hall took a 3-0 lead in the second with five hits.
- Georgetown was retired in order for the first three innings, while Seton Hall added two more runs in the third to increase its lead to 5-0.
- The Hoyas answered with two runs in the top of the fourth. An RBI single by Kozo, followed by a Murciano sacrifice fly, trimmed Seton Hall's lead to 5-2. However, the Pirates responded with three more runs in the bottom of the fourth to extend their lead to 8-2.
- Georgetown's offense was silenced, while Seton Hall added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth, enforcing the run-ahead rule for a 10-2 win.
