WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team closes out the 2025 regular season as it hosts No. 19 Villanova to the Nation's Capital on Friday night. The No. 14 Hoyas look to clinch the top seed at the upcoming BIG EAST Championship, presented by JEEP with a victory.

- The Hoyas (8-4, 3-1 BIG EAST) are ranked No. 14 in both the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll and the KANE Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
- Georgetown is coming off a 21-8 victory at St. John's last Saturday to earn a BIG EAST postseason berth.
- Jack Ransom scored six goals and added an assist while Aidan Carroll added five goals and an assist.

Kevin Miller has 23 (15G, 8A), Ransom chimes in with 18 (17G, 1A), Joe Cesare chips in 17 (13G, 4A), Jordan Wray has 15 (8G, 7A) and Kade Goldberg has 11 (3G, 8A).
- Defensively, Robert Plath has been credited with 24 caused turnovers on the season while Ty Banks has 18 and Seamus Foley has 15. Banks is now tied for eighth all-time in career caused turnovers with 42 in less than two seasons on the Hilltop.
- Ross Prince has won 85-of-136 (.625) faceoffs on the season to pace the Blue & Gray and has 29 ground balls.
- In goal, Moore has played all but 19:01 on the year and boasts an 8.98 GAA with a .535 save percentage and 122 saves.
Scouting Villanova
- The Wildcats are 7-5 overall and 4-0 in BIG EAST play.
- Colin Michener leads Villanova with 32 points (22G, 10A) while Matt Licata adds 30 (21G, 9A).
- Tyler Sandoval is the top faceoff specialist for the Wildcats, winning 94-of-150 (.626) on the year to go with 38 ground balls.
- Defensively, Jake Melchionni has been credited with 19 caused turnovers on the year while Beau Kemler has 18.
- In goal, Denis Frangione has started the last nine games for Villanova, posting a 9.56 GAA to go with a .508 save percentage and 94 saves.

- Georgetown and Villanova have played 43 times before with the Hoyas owning a 23-20 series lead.
- The Blue & Gray have won the last 11 meetings, including an 11-10 overtime win in the BIG EAST Championship game last season.
