WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University softball team will host Creighton for a three-game series from April 4-6 at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in Washington, D.C. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 3 p.m. The Hoyas enter the series with an 8-20 record overall and a 0-12 mark in BIG EAST play while the Blue Jays sit at 12-19 on the season with a 2-7 mark in conference action.

• The Hoyas enter the weekend with an 8-20 record after dropping both games of a doubleheader at James Madison (8-0, 7-2).
• In the game two loss to JMU, Claire Turner tallied her seventh multi-hit game of the season. The junior went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
• In BIG EAST play, Abby Kozo leads the Hoyas in batting average at .324, while Brooke Rebhan follows closely at .313.
• Emily Strittmatter is tied for second in the conference in doubles with four to her credit.
• On the mound, Kayla Dunn is tied for fifth in the BIG EAST in strikeouts with 23 to her credit. Twelve of Dunn's 23 strikeouts have been looking, leading the conference.
• Dunn has also held opposing batters to a .235 batting average, which is tied for fifth in the conference.

• Creighton enters the weekend with a 12-19 and a 2-7 mark in conference action following a 3-2 loss to Omaha on April 1. 
• Kenzie Nakasawa had a big day for the Blue Jays in the loss, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored.
• Brooklyn Patchen was sensational in relief, going 4.2 innings scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, walking two and striking out five.
• On the season, Sydra Seville leads the Jays in batting with a .389 average, followed by Kenzie Nakasawa who sits at .318.
• Inside the circle, Brooke Shifflett leads CU with six wins. Shifflet has posted a 3.64 ERA across 50 innings thus far.
