Jake Fellows Named to All-BIG EAST First Team; Arthur O’Sullivan Named to All-BIG EAST Second Team

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Jake Fellows and Arthur O'Sullivan earned postseason accolades as Fellows was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team and O'Sullivan was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

  • Senior captain Jake Fellows earned unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team honors after an impressive 33-17 overall record across singles and doubles during the 2024-25 season.
  • In singles, Fellows posted a 17-8 mark, 9-5 in spring play and 8-3 in the fall. All nine of his spring victories came at the No. 1 position, where he competed in 14 of the team's 18 top-line matches.
  • In doubles, Fellows finished 16-9 overall, including a 12-8 record in the spring and a 4-1 performance in the fall. All 16 wins came at No. 1 doubles, as he featured in 20 of the team's 22 matches at the top spot.
  • A highlight of the season came in the BIG EAST Championship Quarterfinals against No. 5 DePaul, where Fellows secured a No. 1 singles win over fellow First Team selection Matteo Iaquinto (6-2, 7-6) and teamed up with O'Sullivan for a 6-2 doubles victory over Tobias Leitner and Jona Gitschell.
  • This marks the second All-BIG EAST honor of Fellows' career. He was named the BIG EAST Player of the Year in 2024.

ARTHUR O'SULLIVAN | ALL-BIG EAST SECOND TEAM | JUNIOR | WATERFORD, IRELAND

  • Junior Arthur O'Sullivan also earned unanimous recognition, landing a spot on the All-BIG EAST Second Team after compiling a combined 28-21 record in singles and doubles.
  • In singles action, O'Sullivan went 8-7 in the spring and added a 4-4 record in fall play. He competed across the top three spots in the lineup, going 2-1 at No. 1, 4-5 at No. 2, and 2-1 at No. 3.
  • O'Sullivan tied for the team lead with 16 doubles victories, including a strong 13-8 mark during spring competition. He led the Hoyas in No. 1 doubles wins during the regular season.
  • In the BIG EAST Championships, he and Fellows combined for two crucial No. 1 doubles victories—first defeating DePaul's Leitner and Gitschell (6-2), then topping Max Amling and Armando Sotelo (7-6).
  • This is the first BIG EAST postseason honor of O'Sullivan's collegiate career.
