WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's rowing team had 19 student-athletes earn scholar athlete honors, as announced by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
The student-athletes earning recognition are Julia Ashton, Lilly Bartilucci, Amrit Chapman, Audrey Chapman, Sophia Close, Caden Collins, Katrina Csaky, Rebecca Estevao, Yanna Grammas, Alexandra Junko, Jordan Keene, Katherine Lord-Krause, Phoebe Opler, Ellie Power, Madeleine Sweet, Sydney Thompson, Clara Weller, Emma Wendt and Noelle Winegar.
The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) honored 990 exceptional student-athletes with the 2025 CRCA Scholar-Athlete Award. This year's honorees as a whole averaged an impressive GPA above 3.75, with 55 student-athletes achieving a perfect 4.0. Additionally, student-athletes must have rowed in their institution's NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or race in an NCAA Boat at their Conference Championship/NCAA Championship.
