WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer program was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches by receiving the 2024-25 College Academic Award. The award recognizes teams that post an overall grade point average of a 3.0 or higher.
The squad was one of 414 women's soccer teams that were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches. Additionally, Georgetown was one of 151 schools that had both their men's and women's programs earn the recognition.
The women's team is marking its 22nd time receiving the honor after posting a 3.71 team GPA. This is the Hoyas 12th year in a row receiving the award.
