WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team was honored with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Platform Team Academic Award, as announced by the GCAA on Tuesday. The Hoyas were among 296 programs across six divisions, and one of just 74 NCAA Division I schools. to receive Team Academic recognition. Georgetown also earned the GCAA Presidents Special Recognition, awarded to teams that posted a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
