WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team placed tied for seventh at The Goat in Annapolis, Maryland. GU posted rounds of 296, 294 and 290 (+28) at Naval Academy GC, a par-71, 7,025 yard course. The Hoyas rounded out the two-day, 54-hole tournament with a team score of 880.
Hoya Results
- Barnes Blake was the top performer for the Blue & Gray, finishing second overall at three-under par. Blake was one of three golfers to shoot under par. The junior shot a great first two rounds of 68 and 70, and finished the third round with a 72 (-3).
- Alan Rose placed tied for 24th in the field. The sophomore carded rounds of 75, 74 and 72 to finish eight over.
- Zander Maloy was next on the overall leaderboard for the Hoyas, tied for 50th. Maloy carded rounds of 81, 73 and 73 on the scorecard to finish at 14 over.
- Drew Schauenberg finished the weekend tied for 54th. The freshman carded rounds of 75, 77 and 76 (+15).
- Carson Erick shot a 78 on Saturday, along with a 79 and a 73 on Sunday.
