WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team will return to Shaw Field after a three-game road swing to host No. 10/18 South Carolina. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 7. GU went 1-1-1 on the road with a win over then-No. 15 Virginia Tech, a tie against then-No. 13 Virginia and a narrow defeat to No. 25 Vanderbilt. GU's game against South Carolina will mark the fourth-consecutive ranked matchup for the Blue & Gray.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown enters Sunday's contest with a 2-1-2 record after dropping Thursday night's contest at Vanderbilt 1-0.
- For her efforts last week, Lardner earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after earning BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on August 25.
- Shay Montgomery is second on the team in points with three to her credit. Montgomery has tallied a goal and an assist this season through four games.

- The Blue & Gray went 13-4-4 in 2024 with a mark of 8-1-1 in BIG EAST Conference action which was good enough to win the regular season championship. The Blue & Gray advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 13th consecutive season and advanced to the second round before finishing the season receiving votes in the final poll.
- Georgetown returns 22 players from last season including seven starters from last season.
- Head Coach Dave Nolan enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Hoyas and boasts a 284-96-65 career record. Nolan and staff were named the 2024 BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year for the fifth time dating back to 2007.
