Cara Martin was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week and senior
Natalie Means was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. GU went 1-1 last week suffering a 1-0 loss at then-No. 25 Vanderbilt before securing a 1-0 win over then-No. 10 South Carolina on Sunday.

- In 180 minutes of action, Martin was phenomenal for GU making six saves across two contests.
- Martin was spectacular on Sunday against then-No. 10 South Carolina making two huge saves that kept the Gamecocks off the board.
- The senior recorded her second shutout of the season against South Carolina, and this marks her second time being named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week this season after earning the honor on August 25.

- Means was stellar for GU in a 1-1 week as the senior helped lift the Hoyas to a top 25 victory over South Carolina on Sunday.
- The senior tallied her first goal of the season in the first half when she converted on a penalty kick late in the frame.
- This is Means' first award of the season and the fifth for Georgetown through the first four weeks of the season.
