WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 14th-ranked squash team opened the 2026 calendar year with three-straight 5-4 matches, going 1-2 over the weekend in a New England road trip. The Hoyas dropped tight 5-4 decisions at No. 16 Middlebury and No. 13 Amherst before wrapping up the road swing with a 5-4 victory over No. 15 Williams in the College Squash Association's Match of the Week.
Ella Erickson and
Lindsay Lee won all three of their matches over the weekend while
Cici Curran and
Sanah Syed both posted 2-1 records.
In the win against the Ephs, the Hoyas collected wins from Curran, Erickson, Lee,
Katie Hennessy and
Mary Kacergis to seal the victory.
Next Time Out
The Hoyas return home to host Tufts at Squash On Fire in the District on January 16.
