Georgetown Cross Country Teams, Nine Hoyas Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's cross country team received nine U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) all-academic honors, as announced by the office on Thursday. Additionally, both the men's and women's teams were recognized with all-academic accolades by the association.

USTFCCCA All-Academic Criteria
Academic Individual: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and must have completed a minimum of one (1) semester or one (1) quarter at the nominating institution
Athletic Individual: A student-athlete must have finished as a USTFCCCA Division I Cross Country All-American (top 40) or placed in the top 25 or top 10% at an NCAA Division I Cross Country Regional meet.
Academic Team: The cumulative team GPA at the end of the most recent semester/quarter must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
