WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team returns to the court this weekend with a trio of matches in New England. The 14th-ranked Hoyas will face No. 16 Middlebury on Friday, No. 13 Amherst on Saturday and No. 15 Williams on Sunday to kick off the New Year.

Hoya Notes

• Georgetown went 3-2 in the fall with wins over Denison, Bowdoin and St. Lawrence.
• Cici Curran, Mary Kacergis, Ella Schoonmaker, Ella Erickson, Lindsay Lee, Sydney Bramen, and Audrey Gelinas all started the season with three victories.

Scouting Middlebury

• Friday's match is set for 5 p.m. in Middlebury, Vermont.
• The Panthers are 2-2 on the year with wins over William Smith and Wesleyan.
• All nine Middlebury players are 2-2 on the year.
• Georgetown and Middlebury have played four times before with both teams posting a 2-2 record.

Scouting Amherst

• Saturday's match is set for 2 p.m. in Amherst, Massachusetts.
• The Mammoths are 3-0 on the year with wins over Hamilton, Connecticut College and Dickinson.
• Kanzy Elkaliuoby, Kristen Daniel, Katherine Grissom and Fionnoula Brandon are all 3-0 this season.
• Georgetown and Amherst have played four times before with both teams posting a 2-2 record.

Scouting Williams

• Sunday's match is set for noon in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
• The Ephs are 1-3 on the year with their lone win coming against Hamilton.
• Williams hosts Franklin & Marshall and Dickinson before welcoming the Blue & Gray.
• Georgetown and Williams have played five times before with the Hoyas owning a 3-2 all-time record.

Following the weekend's competition, the Hoyas return to the District to host 10th-ranked Tufts at Squash On Fire on January 16.
