WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's & women's swimming & diving teams fell to Towson University at Burdick Pool on Friday afternoon. The men's team lost 131-112 while the women's team fell 136-107.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The quartet of Heidi Wu, Catherine Bu, Bella Dimaculangan and Madie G. Malone captured first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:51.62.
- Kaitlin Lee placed first in the 1000 free with a time of 10:36.47.
- Catherine Bu earned first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:22.29.
- Michelle Baumbach placed second in the 1M dive with a score of 231.30 and third in the 3M dive with a score of 239.63.
- Mia Williams earned second in the 3M dive with a score of 241.28 and fourth in the 1M dive with a score of 228.08.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Holden Brown earned first in the 200 free (1:42.73) and the 100 free (46.61).
- Gabe A. Gonda took first place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:54.35.
- Keilan Phillips Liu placed first in both the 1M dive (287.78) and the 3M dive (283.28).
- Nico Santiago earned second in the 1M dive with a score of 275.40.
- Thomas Carpinelli placed second in the 3M dive with a score of 260.63.
- Brendan Hodgens finished third in both the 1M dive (254.18) and the 3M dive (256.13).
