WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Jaden Marchan was named the BIG EAST Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the league.

• Marchan shattered a program record, facility record and set a new personal best en route to a first-place finish in the men's 400m invitational at the Penn Classic on Saturday. The sophomore's record time of 45.78 ranks 11th in the country and first among conference competitors this season. Georgetown's previous 400m record was held by James Graham and stood for nearly 23 years.
